The main site link for SiteFeeder is HERE

However, there is a discounted offer available through the XSitePro Marketplace Forum.

Of course, if you are a really nice person you could buy it at SiteFeeder.net which would, maybe, get at least one of my 13 year old twins off my back for a day or two.

I've put the manual online here (SiteFeeder Manual on the main menu), if you'd like to take a lot at the documentation. You can also get a link to a downloadable pdf by sending an email to sfeeder-manual AT geek.werkz.org (yes it's a different site - geek.werkz.org not GeekWerkz.org)

Translatit - Site Translation Scripts
Written by RKeir
Thursday, 11 January 2007

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SCRIPT IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE as of December 2008

Recently I added another script package to my products called Translatit, will allow you to multiply the number of pages on your sites by a factor of nine.

Now, this is a mechanical translator using the Google translation engine so the translation can not be perfect.  There is simply no way to get very accurate translations without a human translator (and paying out a lot of money - this isn't an inexpensive service). But, what mechanical translation can do is provide information useful to your visitors, in their language, to help them understand your site better. And it draws in the SE bots which seem to like these pages.

Translatit creates real, static pages. The translations are actually written to your site and you can set a variable period before they will be retranslated.

Translatit also rewrites onsite links it finds on your pages as it translates and creates the static files so that those links lead to translated pages. Makes it easier for someone to actually browse your site in their language rather continually have to click to get a translated page.

A "sitemap" type file is created for all the translated pages as they added and you can build an XML sitemap for submission to Google, Yahoo and MSN - and you can include the original untranslated pages in the XML sitemap if you want. That gives you a sitewide XML sitemap for submission.

Almost forgot  -  a browser-based configuration script and a pdf manual with pictures are part of the package.

OptinCode - Promotional and Discount Code Script
Written by RKeir
Wednesday, 27 September 2006

Optincode is a new script package that I recently created.  In some ways it's just like my other script products.  I created it for my own use on a new eBook site I've been putting together as a potential business-in-a-box to resell a small number of.

Once I had it up and working the way I wanted it,  it seemed that other people might find it interesting.  Discount and promotional codes have been around for a long time. People like coupons, discounts, finding a good deal.  There's even a sens eof being in on a special deal.  Not everyone has the discount code. And it adds an interesting element of participation for the visitor.

Naturally I got side-tracked into putting together a small package for my existing customers.  One of the potential advantages to this kind of script is that it can help a website owner build an email list.

At this point, the script needed to be edited in a text editor to enter the necessary information.  Pretty soon it got real obvious that there are not too many people who want to mess around editing a script and entering their data that way.  Too complex, too much potential for screwing up the script.

I also discovered that quite a few of my customers don't do any email marketing and don't build lists.  True, this script can be used for other things than list-building and codes can be distributed in a lot of ways, and there are uses that don't actually use codes.  But with all the emphasis on the importance of lists, it seemed odd that quite a few people don't do it.  On the other hand, it may well be that many of my customers are building content sites and monetizing with AdSense.  Certainly, building a list does involve learning how to use auto-responders - and maybe paying for a sequential auto-responders.  Plus some writing, of course.  And it can take quite a while.

In any case, I added a browser-based admin/configuration for OptinCode.  No more messing with the code.  And like always it ended up a much bigger package than I thought.

You can check it out at OptinCode

RSS Wrapper Package Gets a New Addition
Written by RKeir
Monday, 28 August 2006

NOTE:  RSS Wrapper sales have been discontinued as fo 03/16/2007.

Support, of course, will continue.  Why? RSS FeedsMaster. As I write, the package hasn't been officially launched just yet, but it is imminent. For displaying RSS feeds on your site, FeedsMaster is a revolutionary toolset that goes beyond anythig else currently available.

The RSS Wrapper package now also includes a full 'demo' site.  This addition was made to provide a hands-on model of how the code is added to a site's pages to make the site setup part of using the script even easier.

And as long as I was doing that I decided to make it a full-fledged site with article content that you could use and customize however you want.  The basic site was constructed using XSitePro and consists of 20+ pages.  The content is 20 high quality PLR articles that you can edit, make your own and use on the site or publish to article directories, use on other sites - whatever.

An XSitePro export file allows you you load the site directly into XSitePro (if you are an XSitePro user).  A full html version of the site is also included which you can work with in any html editor.  Naturally the graphics are also included.

The final part of the new addition is a pdf (yes, yes, with pictures) that runs through the steps used to put the code on the site pages.  It covers adding the code in XSitePro as well as how to add the code using an html editor - or a simple text editor.

If you've been thinking about picking up RSS Wrapper, but were concerned about script installation, this should show you the way. Plus it's a pretty significant add-on to the package.

Previous purchasers WILL receive the site package as long as they've signed up for the  RSS Wrapper support list and confirmed their opt-in.
